Why I build with Elementor.
Every page on this site — the one you’re reading right now — is built in Elementor. Here’s the honest case for why I use it, on my own site and for client work.
I used to hand-code every site from scratch. That’s still the right call for some projects — but for most clients, it creates a problem after launch: they can’t touch their own website without calling me for every small text change or new photo.
Elementor solves that without the usual page-builder trade-off of everything looking the same. I rebuilt this entire portfolio in it — same custom design, same performance targets — specifically so I could prove it holds up to a real, opinionated design instead of a generic template look.
01 · handoff
Clients can edit it themselves
Swap a photo, update a price, add a testimonial — without a support ticket. That's the difference between a site a client maintains and one they slowly let rot.
02 · structure
Containers, not nested tables
Modern Elementor builds on real CSS flexbox containers. It's the same layout logic I'd hand-write — just with a visual editor on top of it.
03 · speed
Fast enough when built right
Elementor's reputation for slow sites comes from bloated theme demos and unused Pro widgets, not the builder itself. Lean data, no page-builder plugins piled on top, and it performs.

Where I'd still hand-code instead: a highly custom web app, a site with unusual performance constraints, or anything where the client will genuinely never touch the content themselves.
